About

The National Cadet Corps (Air) is a premier Uniformed Youth Organisation in Singapore.

In the NCC, cadets learn many skills, including foot drill, firing and handling of M16 rifles as well as the principles of field craft. Activities unique to the Air element of the NCC include courses on aircraft and flight (the Silver and Gold Wing Courses), aeromodelling courses and competitions, visits to RSAF bases as well as rides on RSAF aircraft such as the C-130, Fokker 50 and the Chinook helicopter.

Achievements

We have won the Gold Unit award, awarded to the top NCC units, in the years 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005.

We were also the Best NCC (Air) Unit in the years 2001 and 2004.

In the 2005 Specialists Course, our cadet, SSG Abdul Haadi, was awarded the "Best in Platoon" award.

In December 2005, one of our former cadets completed the 50th CLT course successfully. CLT Nicholas Chee is now advising the Part D cadets on the running of the unit.

The ACS (Independent) NCC (Air) website is currently maintained by MSG Sean Lim and SSG Arjun Naidu. 2SG Marcus Chua is the webmaster, however he is unable to maintain it at the moment.
