Only appearing in episode 14 as Riku's childhood friend and popular teen magazine cover model who just transferred to his school, Yukari claims that she had a great and memorable childhood with Riku. But he objects and say otherwise about his childhood with her. She is invited by Misao to check on Sayuri, wanting her opinion about her. The first thing She came to the school is to reunite with Riku and proclaim him as her boyfriend much to the dismay of Tsukasa and Mina with Sayuri listening silently. Tsukasa and Mina then tries to compete with Yukari for Riku with her being able to select a partner of her own. She chooses Sayuri. In the end, Misao has to come out and clarify her true purpose here in school. While speaking with Sayuri, Yukari states that when she quits being an idol, she might make Riku her boyfriend and urges her to beat her to it.
