Hi guys! I'm so excited about this review. I'm to talk about my participation in the LIVE GIG OF LINKIN PARK!!! Yes! They came down to Singapore yesterday which was the 22nd of June 2004. It was darn shiok rocking. Erm... So rock and so much fun as to say. If ya ain't there, u really regret as ya miss the rockiest moment.
The hosts were Daniel Ong & Sheikh Haikel. Funny & hilarious as they are, they brought laughters & booings at the same time for that night. Cool! I guess they did bring the crowds to a high when the act was to begin. But sadly, when they introduced the korean band, Pia, the audience booed as I did too. Cos, we were not interested in them even if they are L.P. respected band. We WANT LINKIN PARK!!! And so, the opening act performed for a near hour. Gosh, time wasting. Then we waited for another half hour and, FINALLY LINKIN PARK!!! Yeah, yoh! Rocking moments began! That was spectacular!! Saw Joseph, Chester & Mike(my fav. for the band)
Guess every one in the inner ring, which costs me 152.20 sg dollars, grooved to the hard metallic rocking tunes. Worthy, I must say. But down side was I FORGOT TO BRING MY DC! Darn it, F@#k! Besides, people pushing, I was sandwiched when the concert was half way through, and most importantly, smelly sweats, and cigarettes smoke breezed through the crowd. And I realized one thing, an uncle with his children in front of my friends and I, guessed they were so shocked how every one rocked, they shifted out. Hahaha!! Watz up?! Oh yah! Two gals even fainted b4 the gig started. Guess their friend must be real angry man...
I didn't look behind to see how the B & C standing crowds were behaving, cos I DON"T CARE!!! =P Every song was so entertaining and we sang with Chester & Mike, that I guess for the song IN THE END, Chester forgotten the lyrics and yet everyone was still singing to it. I realized that he wasn't singing and was wondering how come the crowd kept lah lah lah... They simply ignored what Chester said. I was somehow amused! It was slow for the audience to finally realize what was happening man. But anyway, that's cool! I'm glad we really know L.P. songs darn well. Hahaha~
Oh yah, towards the end, for the track A PLACE FOR MY HEAD, L.P. invited an audience to be a reader for "you try to take the best of me, GO AWAY". It was realistic as that lucky chap took the best of us and we liked to ask him GO AWAY, man! Kekeke... Too, the last track L.P. performed, ONE STEP CLOSER, PIA lead vocalist was asked to sing the part where we told him to SHUT UP! That was fun indeed.
He~he~ I guess those who miss the gig must be very #@*~!, & sad bah. Nevermind, the next time Linkin Park is here, don't miss it!! I guarantee no regrets! As what I would like to end my comment with is ~ NO REGRET!!! ARGHHH~~~ LOVE LINKIN PARK EVEN MORE! Thks for coming to S'pore, L.P.
