  • Thinking back about the team always bring back good memories and a warm sensation in my heart. My personal philosophy for training is that although not everyone is equally talented in the event, I believe that effective training and dedication will be able to balance it out. I never considered myself to be talented in running. I ran and trained hard because I love the sport and have a strong desire to excel in it. Under the leadership of Mr Quek, Mr Sara and Mr Lim, I'm glad that we have transformed NJC Track and Team into a family of dedicated athletes who share a common vision - to keep the flag of NJC soaring high above, and to continue to break personal barriers. The values I've picked up through training with the team will forever be part of me.
I'll never forget the moment after the Cross Country race at sentosa (National Inter Schools Cross Country 2003), it was definitely one of the most rewarding periods in my life. I'm currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign.  Lastly, I have great confidence that this new batch of runners will excel if they are truly passionate about the sport.
I hope to meet up with u (all) soon when i return in may..!"
