About this website

Hi, I am Junyi from Singapore. One of my favourite past time is flying R/C helicopter. This website is dedicated to this hobby and I will post articles here that will help those who are interested in this hobby.

My addiction to R/C helicopter hobby

I started this hobby in June 2002 and I have 3 r/c helicopters now. My fleet consists of a Piccolo Pro, Hornet 2 and Hirobo Freya X-Spec 91.

The specifications of my helicopters:

Hacker 20-18 brushless motor
Castle Creation Phoenix 10 brushless motor controller
ICS50 tail motor controller
Hitec Electron 6 dual conversion micro reciever
Etec 3S 1200 mah Li-Po batteries

MS Hornet 2
Hacker 20-22 brushless motor
3 x HS55 for CCPM
GY401 and HS50 on the tail
Castle Creation Phoenix 10 brushless motor controller
Hitec Electron 6 dual conversion micro reciever
Etec 3S 1200 mah Li-Po batteries

Hirobo Freya X-Spec
OS 91 C-Spec and Hatori 999
JR DS8231 on the cyclics
Futaba S9350 on the collective pitch
JR NES591 on the throttle
Futaba GY601 with S9251 on the tail
Futaba GV 1 engine rpm governor
JR NER649S 9 channel PCM reciever

Both controlled by the JR PCM 10X.
